Just try to read a book in the loft with that gorgeous lake stretched out before you, attempt a nap on the lounge in the living room or sip your morning coffee in the turret, but we bet you won't be able to keep your eyes off the fabulous view. The sunsets are amazing and the gardens breathtaking, and the view is yours to be had, while lofted high above the award winning Gilbert's restaurant.

At the heart of the famous vacation destination of Lake Geneva, Gilbert's is a short walk away from plenty of shops, eateries and a theatre. Amble down to Lake Geneva's popular lake path for a leisurely stroll or a good hike. Head for the beach, take a relaxing cruise (complete with history lessons of some of the area's oldest mansions) on the lake, or rent a pair of jet skis for some great fun on the water. Of course, you could opt to do nothing at all, but simply take in The View. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous meal in Gilbert's fine dining restaurant - one of only five restaurants in Wisconsin to be awarded four diamonds by AAA - with its award-winning wine cellar.
